Event Opportunities: The Historic George Ranch Association is proud to present the George Ranch Frontier Days festival, held at the George Ranch. Enjoy hands-on activities, battle re-enactments, live entertainment, first-person costumed interpreters, historic home tours, games, cowboys, vintage vehicles, food, craft vendors and more. Brigades graduates will be able to help out with a manned poster display or unmanned poster display. We will have a booth outside.

Event Opportunities: This family-friendly event promises an array of activities including a Kids Activities, Yoga Sessions, Food Trucks, Local Art, Conservation Fair, Family Hiking Challenge, and so much more! With something for everyone, NatureFest aims to foster a deeper connection with nature and the community. This would be a great opportunity for cadets to share their camp experiences with the community and recruit future cadets!

Confluence of Young Conservation Leaders (CYCL)

Texas Brigades is involved with the nationwide Confluence of Young Conservation Leaders (CYCL). Every two years, a different CYCL partner hosts the CYCL event. Texas Brigades hosted the 2019 CYCL in Austin, TX.
You are invited to apply to attend the 2024 Confluence of Young Conservation Leaders with Texas Brigades.
This event presents an opportunity to meet and network with other young leaders with a passion for the conservation of natural resources. Previous attendees have come from Texas, Missouri, Wisconsin, Florida, Oklahoma, Virginia, and South Carolina.
Texas Brigades facilitators will select up to six (6) Brigades graduates (ages 18-21) from across the state. The application deadline is September 20, 2024. Chosen candidates will be notified by September 27, 2024.

Event Opportunities: The 13th South Texas Wildlife Conference is being hosted by Texas Wildlife Association, Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, and Texas Parks and Wildlife. Attendees will hear from university researchers, agency personnel, land managers, and property owners on a suite of South Texas wildlife and habitat management topics.

Fort Worth Hunters Extravaganza — August 9-11, 2024.
Texas Brigades will have a booth space set up at this event (#365) for Brigade graduates to display their posters and talk to attendees about Texas Brigades.
Friday, August 9 — 3:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Saturday, August 10 — 9:00 AM - 7:00 PM
Sunday, August 11 — 10:00 AM - 5:00 PM
This BOA activity can qualify for A.3 (manned trifold/poster display, up to 250 points) or A.4 (unmanned trifold/poster display, up to 100 points).

PLEASE NOTE: This sign up form is an indication of availability. We will reach out to confirm your time slot(s) as soon as we're able. We typically receive a lot of interest for this event, so you may only be selected to fill one time slot. We try to accommodate everyone, but spots fill up quickly!
We currently do not have a Cadet coordinating this event. If you are interested in coordinating this event, please indicate your interest in the below form. Only one cadet is able to be responsible for claiming coordination, which counts as activity A.6.
