East Texas Forage Conference

Location: Gold Hall; 101 E. Elm St., Hallsville, TX 75650 

Date & Time: Saturday, September 29 — 9:00am-2:00pm

Event Description: This event is an opportunity to learn Best Management Practices proven to help protect Texas waterways. Participants will also learn about resources for technical and financial assistance. This workshop will feature local SWCD, NRCS, Sabine River Authority and local efforts working to improve water quality.

Event Opportunities: Cadets will have the opportunity to bring their poster for a manned poster display. 

A.3 Manned Poster Display — Restrictions: points awarded per day, minimum of one hour. 

Register to Attend: Texas Brigades Volunteer, Leanne Wiley, will be in attendance at this event. If you are interested in attending this event, please reach out to her directly for more details (leanne.wiley@ag.tamu.edu). Leanne will be able to assist with the coordination of the poster set up, but you will also need to RSVP to the Harrison County AgriLife office for a lunch headcount (903-935-8413).
